Gisteravond kreeg ik van jongste dit gevlochten hartje voor Valentijnsdag. Lief!

Actually, this was my first try for the haiku-quiltlet. I intended to cut the angelina into squares and iron that on the little batik squares. But, when I finished the angelina I didn't want to cut it up, so I used it as a whole and ironed the batik squares on it. When I was handsewing the binding on, I took a good look at it and decided this quiltlet didn't serve the purpose I made it for, being the stark and rigid form of the haiku. So, I started over and made my 'real' haiku-quiltlet.
.
The braided heart was made by and given to me by youngest, for Valentines day. Sweet!
