Googelen op Bart van der Leck gaf veel abstracte kunst, maar ook wat figuratief werk, zoals deze leuke poes en grappige takshond. Als poezenmens was mijn eerste idee natuurlijk om de poes te gaan maken, maar dat lag wel erg voor de hand, dus is het de hond geworden.
Deze lapjes had ik er eerst bijgezocht:
Goed passend bij de kleuren van het echte schilderij, maar wel een beetje saai. Omdat ik toch al 'ruig' aan het doen was door de hond te maken en niet de poes, heb ik de stofkeuze ook maar 'een beetje' aangepast:

The first picture is of the original fabrics I pulled. They go nicely with the original painting, but are a little bit boring. Because I already was being adventurous by making the cat, instead of the dog, I changed the fabric selection a little.
