(heb er zelf nog even aan gedacht om ze op elkaar te naaien, zo dus:
maar volgens DH "ziet dat er ook niet uit".....)
"Sometimes it helps just throwing out the UFO's that just did not turn out the way you wanted them. That way you get rid of an UFO* (or, more accurately, a WOMBAT*) and the guild that is attached to it."
This, in itself, sound advice, I gave to someone on a mailing list I am a member of. Actually following my own advice is quite a different story. The first two pictures are of first versions of quilts I just don't like. The sensible thing would be to just throw them in the trash and be done with it. But, I just cannot seem to get myself to do this. If you all would leave reactions telling me to just throw them out, perhaps then I could. On the other hand, briljant tips how to salvedge the work and materials in them by turning them into something good is of course also welcome. I was thinking about just sewing them on top of each other, but DH says it looks horrible as well.....
