Bloemenmandjes

Een paar jaar geleden kocht ik op de quilttentoonstelling een schattig pakketje met lapjes van 10x10cm. Niet met iets speciaals om er van te maken in mijn hoofd, maar gewoon omdat ik het zo'n lief pakketje vond. Dus dat belandde in de kast.
Een tijdje later zag ik een foto van een antieke quilt, allemaal mandjes met bloemenstofjes. Dat zou ik ook wel eens met mijn bloemenstofjes kunnen doen. En dat werd dus deze quilt:

A couple of years ago I was at this show and bought a very cute package of 4" squares. Not with something special in mind to do with it, but just because it was cute.
It ended up in the closet. Would I never learn? Fortunately, some years later I got inspired by a picture of an antique quilt and made this. The small squares are in the baskets and in the triangle-border.
