Her name is Sifra, which is Hebrew for beautiful. When we got her she was already three years old, she had a name which we did not like, so we thought we might give her another name. Because the only thing we knew about her then was that she was beautiful (she had a hard time adjusting, it took weeks before we could get near her and find out what kind of person she actually was) we looked for a name that means beautiful.
